The Genbank Submission Plugin maps fields on your documents to standard Genbank fields using dropdown selectors. For each dropdown, choose the field in your document that matches the given Genbank field. If the fields you need do not already exist on your documents, you can add them using Document Notes (see the Geneious Manual, or click the Notes tab when viewing documents.

You can make submissions from the following types of documents:

• A Single Sequence: The fields to be mapped will be taken from the sequence document
• An alignment of standalone sequences: The fields to be mapped will be taken from the sequences referenced by the alignment.
• A Contig Assembly: The fields to be mapped will be taken from the reads/sequences referenced by the assembly
• An alignment of assembly consensus sequences: The fields will be taken from the reads/sequences referenced by the assemblies
